CEREC & Same-Day Crowns
What is CEREC?
Cerec uses Cad Cam technology to create same day crowns, eliminating the need to return for a second visit. We are pleased to offer this advanced technology at Meridian Dental. Our doctors will answer any questions you may have. From the use of special 3D imaging, to the remarkable Cad Cam milling machine, you will be impressed with the entire process. Cerec creates stronger, more beautiful, and natural looking restorations leaving you with a confident, more dazzling, high-tech smile.
Crowns & Bridges
When a tooth has been damaged, becomes sensitive, or is weakened due to multiple restorations, a crown may be recommended to help restore, strengthen and protect the tooth. A crown is basically a cap the doctor places to return the tooth to original shape and function.
When a tooth is lost, a bridge literally bridges the gap where the original tooth had once been. This helps to maintain the shape of your face and can restore chewing function.
Crowns & bridges can be made from a variety of strong, esthetically pleasing materials. When a crown or bridge is recommended, our doctors at Meridian Dental Clinic will discuss which option they feel is the best replacement option for you.
Dentures
A beautiful, confident, healthy smile is important even for denture wearers. At Meridian Dental Clinic we provide personalized denture services that meet the needs and comfort-levels of our patients.
If you are interested in learning more about dentures, and determining if they are the right choice for you, we welcome the opportunity to speak with you. You are unique, and our goal is to create dentures that capture the one-of-a-kind, natural, and confident smile that suits you best!
Extractions
Our goal is to help you maintain your teeth for a lifetime. However, there are times when it is necessary to remove a tooth. When extraction is necessary, the doctors at Meridian Dental Clinic are here for you. Our highly trained doctors will attend to the affected tooth quickly and effectively. Your comfort and care are our top priority.
Fillings
Dental fillings are used to restore and repair minor cracks and decay in the teeth. There are two types of filling materials. Traditional fillings are most often made of silver amalgam, while composite fillings are made of composite resins and have a more natural, esthetically pleasing appearance.
While both options are durable and long-lasting, your doctor will discuss the options, and together you can determine the best course of treatment for you.
Root Canal
Periodically a tooth may develop an infection affecting the nerve. With a special procedure called a root canal, our doctors can save you from discomfort and subsequent dental problems with a root canal.
During a root canal, the doctor removes the infected tissue, replacing it with a special filling material. In most cases, a crown is recommended after root canal therapy to strengthen and protect the tooth. With regular preventative maintenance, and good home care, your restored tooth can last a lifetime.
Sedation
We are pleased to provide our patients the option of comfortable, safe, and effective sedation dentistry. We offer Nitrous and conscious sedation here in office and can utilize an outside anesthesiologist for IV sedation. Sedation allows you to relax during your procedure, with no recollection of the time the procedure took, or the associated sights and sounds. You will rest comfortably while your doctor gently, and expertly performs the procedure. It is the simplest and most relaxing way to experience dental care.
To learn more about sedation dentistry, ask one of our wonderful team members about scheduling a consultation to see which form of sedation is right for you.
